Since 2006 she worked as a Mental Health Therapist mainly with active duty Military at the Warrior Combat Stress Reset Program as well as other behavioral health clinics addressing primarily PTS (Post Traumatic Stress) and mTBI (mild Traumatic Brain Injury), complex grief, sleep problems, anxiety, depression, over activated defense mechanism, performance pressure in combat, etc.
Beate realized that mind, body and soul needs to be addressed in their connection to each other that optimum performance can be reached in conjunction of feeling balanced and inner peace. It is more effective to go for the goals of a person instead of solely addressing the problems. This requires to change thinking from the automatic negative to positive and success thinking.
In every situation in life influences you and contributes to what makes you “you”. Danger is that you get lost in the past, in unhealthy patterns and you shift the focus from who you want to be to how your environment perceives you and what is expected from you.
I developed Waves on Wings, because working for over 10 years with Combat Veterans it taught me how much we keep ourselves in an emotional prison. Unless we address mind, body and soul together and align their energy with each other, we stay being blocked from living life and having purpose.
